Reverse Hyper ISO hold
This is a later progression of Hip Extension work we do in the summer. We call it "Reverse Hyoer ISO hold." You hip flex one leg and extend the other for 5 sec, then switch for 5 sec. To complete the exercise, reverse hyper both legs for 5 sec. Be sure you actively flex the hip and extend the glute on the first stage of the exercise. ALSO... be sure to focus on your glute firing, NOT your low back influence during this exercise. If your athletes get good at this then add small increments of time (2 sec per week).
Enjoy, Mike Potenza
