Parker's Players Now Shape The Game

This article is about one of the greatest coaches in College hockey history, Jack Parker.  It was written by Rich Barlow in the Bostonia magazine shortly after his retirement.  For a Performance Professional there is a wealth of coaching knowledge to gain from this article.  One of the most respectable things about Coach Parker is how many players he had at BU that are now coaching at all levels of hockey.  We as a profession are quick to appreciate the "science" of training, but we also need to have an equal appreciation for the "art" of coaching.  This article discusses Coach Parker's influence on young coaches and how the "art" of coaching is more imortant than the "X's and O's."

Enjoy and Thank you Coach Parker for your last 40 years of coaching BU Hockey.
