MONEY Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom by Tony Robbins
Yes, I know this book has nothing to do with training hockey players. However, it has everything to do with success and that is why I am recommending it. Unfortunately I see a lot of coaches making poor money decisions. A few simple changes could drastically change your future. Most people do not save enough, or even any money at all. I believe the Mike Boyle rule of thumb is that before you open your own gym you should have accumulated 10,000 hours of coaching and during that time you should have been saving 10% of your income. If you work for somebody else you should be taking advantage of any tax advantaged retirement savings programs that your employer may offer. Not doing so is just down right stupid! These programs are things such as 401(k) or 403(b). Most employers will match what an employee contributes and many times they will offer other contributions like discretionary profit sharing
Anyways, in this book Robbins interviews all the biggest names in investing and finance. These are people that ordinary investors could never have access to and receive guidance from because the cost of their time is extremely high. They typically work with people who already have hundreds of millions of dollars. However, you can hear their thoughts and advice all in one place. The list includes: Jack Bogle, founder of Vanguard. Warren Buffet, owner of Berkshire Hathaway. Paul Tudor Jones, hedge fund manager. Ray Dalio, founder of the world's largest hedge fund. Carl Icahn, Wall Street insider.

Why We Get Fat and What to Do About It by Gary Taubes
In the book the author talks about the bad "science" behind our governments nutrition guidelines. The reality is many of the guidelines are political and not scientific. He talks about why calories in vs. calories out is wrong and discusses why some people are fat and others are thin.
