Stability Ball Body Saw
The stability ball body saw is a great variation that aligns with our core training principles. Our core training philosophy is about anti-movement--using the abdominals and other muscles to prevent excess movement. That means we're doing a ton of rollouts and plank variations. Stability ball variations, such as the stability ball body saw, are great to throw into the mix as a break from rollouts while providing unique challenges.
The stability ball body saw, unlike the rollout causes instability in all planes of motion. The "stir the pot" variation where athletes move their hands in a circle is another great option for core anti-extension training.
