Stride Rotational Throw
The Stride Rotational Throw is a great variation to benefit anyone from the worlds top athletes to your town's most average adult league players. The key to the movement is the width of your feet. By having wide feet, you have a good solid base, and rely less on core stabilization. When your base becomes more narrow (like you're standing on a balance beam), your stability is challenged more.
The benefits here are that you learn to develop rotational power over an internally rotating hip (like you would in a shot), and also learn to absorb the ball coming back to you, which helps you learn to stabilize more effectively.
