HEAD COACHES
David is a writer, strength and conditioning coach, and head content architect for Hockey Strength and Conditioning. A Vermont native, he resides in New York City's East Village, where he studies at the Gallatin School at New York University. At NYU, he's focused on enhancing his aptitude for the written word. He also apprentices under fitness-legend and New York Times bestselling author, John Romaniello in all things writing and entrepreneurship.
In the strength and conditioning world, David has interned under Devan McConnell when Devan was at Umass Lowell and served as the head strength coach for the Vermont Lumberjacks junior teams. In 2017, at age 18, David became a certified personal trainer with the NSCA.
He loves the Rangers, reading books, and writing about himself in the third person. He also can't figure out why Brian gets a cool picture of himself here but nobody else does.
Brian Sipotz
Brian Sipotz played NCAA hockey at Miami University, and was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. After graduating from Miami with a degree in Exercise Science, he went on to play 7 years of professional hockey, mostly with the Atlanta Thrashers AHL Affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
At the conclusion of his playing career, Brian used his experience as a player to open Advantage Strength and Conditioning in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he has been working primarily with youth athletes since 2011.
